  • Hi, I’m Philip. I’m 55 and live in the beautiful, historic city of Cambridge, UK. My life’s been quite the adventure, shaped by my career in procurement, my passion for coaching and therapy, and my commitment to personal growth and community service. I’m all about living a meaningful life and trying to make a positive impact wherever I can.

Professionally, I’ve been working in procurement for over 30 years. I started out in the fast-paced corporate world, where I quickly learned the ropes of strategic sourcing, building strong supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts. Over the years, I’ve fine-tuned my skills, focusing on cost efficiency, sustainable supply chains, and effective procurement strategies across various industries. It’s been a rewarding journey, giving me a broad perspective on market dynamics and business operations.

But there’s more to me than just procurement. I’m also a qualified Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy (QCH) Coach and Therapist, and a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). My fascination with how the mind works led me to this field, where I’ve found powerful ways to help people grow and transform their lives. I love working with clients to overcome challenges, break free from limiting beliefs, and reach their full potential. I take a holistic approach, blending Cognitive Hypnotherapy with NLP techniques, which lets me personalize each session to fit my clients’ unique needs. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see people conquer anxiety, achieve their goals, or build better relationships.

Running is another big part of my life. I’ve been fortunate enough to run the London Marathon three times—in 2022 for the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT), and in 2024 and 2025 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF). These races were more than just tough physical challenges; they were incredible experiences that deepened my commitment to giving back to the community. Crossing the finish line each time, knowing that my efforts were helping important causes, was truly special.

Training for marathons has taught me so much about perseverance, resilience, and the power of a positive mindset – lessons I carry with me in everything I do, whether it’s my work in procurement or my coaching amd therapy practice.

Living in Cambridge is a constant source of inspiration. I love wandering through its picturesque streets, punting on the River Cam, or just enjoying a good book in one of its cozy cafes. The city’s vibrant cultural scene and historic charm make it a perfect place for reflection and creativity.

I’m also passionate about continuous learning. I regularly attend workshops and conferences to keep up with the latest developments in coaching, therapy, and procurement. Staying curious and open to new ideas keeps me energized and excited about my work.

Family and community mean the world to me. I’m grateful for my supportive family, and I’m actively involved in local initiatives, volunteering my time to various causes. Whether it’s mentoring young professionals, participating in charity events, or offering free coaching sessions, I believe in giving back and strengthening the community around me.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I’m always open to connecting with others who share my interests and values. Whether it’s through my work, my coaching, or my marathon adventures, I hope to make a positive impact and inspire others along the way. If you’re on a journey of growth, discovery, or making a difference, let’s connect – I’d love to share the adventure with you.
